Barcelona have drawn up a shortlist of four options to replace Ernesto Valverde, as manager, Mundo Deportivo reports.
There have been suggestions that emergency meetings have been called to discuss his position.
Valverde has led Barca to back-to-back league titles in his two seasons in charge but has thrown away two three-goal advantages in back-to-back Champions League campaigns to Roma and Liverpool.
The former Athletic Bilbao boss is under growing pressure following Saturday’s Copa del Rey final defeat by Valencia.
It was reported that Massimiliano Allegri, Ronald Koeman, Roberto Martinez and Erik ten Hag are the four men being considered as his replacement.
Allegri is available after leaving Juventus and would become the first Italian to take charge of Barcelona.
Martinez led Belgium to a third-placed finish in last summer’s World Cup and has impressed many La Liga sides.
Ten Hag has become one of the hottest prospects in management after his sensational season with Ajax. While Koeman has the profile the club is looking for after spending six years of his playing career at the Nou Camp.
