Real Madrid have reportedly made a stunning £100 million offer plus three players for Neymar.
The latest update from French outlet L'Equipe is that Real proposed involving Gareth Bale, Keylor Navas and James Rodriguez - three players Los Blancos were content with selling this summer - in a potential blockbuster deal for the former Barcelona star.
However, the Parisians are said to have knocked back the offer as PSG Sporting Director Leonardo does not approve of the three players offered by Real.
The transfer saga surrounding the Brazilian star continues to rumble on, with Barcelona and Juventus still believed to be in the race for the world's most expensive footballer as we approach deadline day on 2 September.
PSG, meanwhile, have started the new campaign without Neymar - losing 2-1 to Rennes in their second game of the season.
Club captain Thiago Silva is hopeful that his fellow Brazilian will be sticking around in the French capital despite the intense speculation.
"Of course we miss him," Silva said. "I hope that in the end, he will be able to stay with us because he is an incredible guy, an indispensable player for this team but we have to wait for what will happen at the end of the transfer window.
"I cannot answer [if he will leave], but I feel he can stay.
"Neymar is a key player on this team, and he decides if he's happy to stay or not. It is difficult to get into things like that, it's between him and the club right now.
"We have to wait until the end to see what he decides, but I hope that in the end, he will stay. That way we will be much stronger."
