Marcus Rashford appeared to forget he was playing in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night when he revealed his delighted at "getting the three points" against Chelsea.
The Manchester United forward, who turns 22 today, scored an absolute peach of a free-kick from 35-or-so yards at Stamford Bridge, and in turn won the game for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men.
It was a whirlwind performance from the England international, who appeared to be still in awe as he conducted an interview with Sky Sports after the full-time whistle.
Here's how the interview played out.
Interviewer: "Marcus, congratulations, your birthday tomorrow - is that the best possible way to celebrate tonight?"
Rashford: "Erm, yeah, getting the three points is the way you want to start a day like tomorrow."
Does somebody want to let Marcus know that you can't pick up all three points in the Carabao Cup fourth round?
We'll let him off though. The Manchester United striker was once again in scintillating form for his side, scoring a brace against a weakened Chelsea.
He opened the scoring from the penalty spot after Marcos Alonso brought down pacey winger Daniel James.
He continued to be a threat throughout the game and got his just rewards with 'that' outrageous free-kick.
