Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba's agent Mino Raiola has revealed the player is happy at the club. The France international tried to force his transfer to Real Madrid in the summer and was expected to do so again in January.
United Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants Pogba to stay and help with rebuilding the club back to glory ways.
However, Pogba is now known for his mystery injuries and illness, which yet again started rumours of a likely January transfer.
Pogba is yet to start a match in over two months and made substitute appearances, against Watford and Newcastle, but was not named in the squad for the Burnley match.
Despite The 26-year-old’s future not yet settled, Agent Raiola believes his client will remain at Old Trafford.
“I go by what Solskjaer says. Pogba will not leave, and that’s fine, We have a great relationship with them,” Raiola told Sky Sports News.
“Paul is struggling a bit with his injuries that we have worked on to resolve and I think that’s our main focus now.
“So if Solksjaer has other ideas about my player and he wants to let me know, he has my number.
“And until when I talk to Ed Woodward, because he's the only person I talk to at United. I have never spoken to Ole.
“So that's how it is. I only know that Pogba respects him, loves him for everything he has done for him. And that’s the very and only thing I know about Solksjaer.”
Paul Pogba is expected to start Manchester United’s New Year's Day clash against Arsenal at the Emirates.
