Chelsea Coach Frank Lampard has confirmed that Willian is in talks already with the club over a new contract deal.
Willian was crucial in the Chelsea's 2-0 win against Tottenham on Sunday, as he scored both goals in a very impressive performance that showed his importance and quality.
His current contract expires at the end of the season and he is free to talk and sign a pre-contract deal with any foreign club from January.
Barcelona and Juventus have showed interest in Willian and the 31 year-old's could be available for either clubs if he does not sign a new contract.
However, Frank Lampard is a big fan and has confirmed he will support the club's bid to keep the a very important squad player in Willian.
Under Lampard, Willian is ahead of youngster's Hudson-Odoi, Pulisic and even Pedro as Chelsea's most-used winger this season.
Lampard confirmed: 'He is now in talks with the club about a new deal.
"He's been very impressive for me, especially when shows his full quality like he did Vs Tottenham. It was a delightful performance we want to see in each game.
'I knew he is a great player before I took the job.
'He's not been exactly happy with his body language, in and out mostly. My idea at the start of the season was to give him the chance, let him how much I feel about him.
'Now we get him fit, get him back to his best because I know he can and I trust him because he has this fantastic ability to sprint away from people.'
Willian has scored five goals so far this season, just three short of his goal tally for last season.
