Inter Milan manager, Antonio Conte has hailed winger, Victor Moses and playmaker, Christian Eriksen for ‘fitting straight’ into his squad following his side’s 2-1 win over Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia encounter on Wednesday.
Moses and Eriksen both came from the bench in the second half of the encounter to feature against Fiorentina.
Inter Milan defeated Fiorentina to qualify for the semi-final of the competition, thanks to two goals from Antonio Candreva and Nicolo Barella at San Siro.
Moses left Chelsea on loan to join Inter Milan last week.
Eriksen left Tottenham Hotspur on a permanent transfer to join Inter Milan earlier this week.
Speaking to Inter TV after the game, Conte said: “We’ll keep going and prepare for a tough game in Udine, but we can also look at the positives, with Young slotting in, with a fine second game in which he showed character.
“That also goes for Moses and Eriksen, players who have just arrived and are fitting straight into an already much organised system with fantastic lads.”
Also reacting, Inter Milan striker, Romelu Lukaku paid tribute to both Moses and Erisken.
Lukaku wrote on Twitter after the match: “Semi-final bound Welcome @chriseriksen8 and @victormoses 💯”.
