Manchester United will listen to offers for both Jesse Lingard and Andreas Pereira this upcoming summer.
According to The Sun, Jesse Lingard and Andreas Pereira could both leave Old Trafford this summer as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer continues his squad overhaul.
Manchester United have been linked with a move for some big name players ahead of the window and will need to sell some less important players to raise funds.
The Red Devils fans can expect a very busy summer transfer window as they look to return back to challenging for the Premier League title.
Harry Kane, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Jude Bellingham and Jadon Sancho are believed to be targets for Manchester United this summer.
The Red Devils have effectively improved after the January window, having signed Bruno Fernandes and Odion Ighalo.
However, they will need to sell players in order to fund their summer business.
According to the Sun, Lingard and Pereira are two players most likely to leave the club.
Lingard has failed to impress, having failed to score or provide an assist from 20 Premier League fames this season.
His performance has been affected by off-field issues relating to his family, but fans have refused and want him out as quick as possible.
The 27-year-old only recently signed Mino Raiola as his agent, leading to reports that he could be ready to quit Manchester United.
Also, Pereira has been poor this season, having scored just one goal and provided three assists in 23 league matches.
Both players were frozen out by Solskjaer in the weeks before the coronavirus pandemic, and Pereira was not included in any of the last three league matchday squads.
The perfect start by Fernandes has left Lingard and Pereira thinking about their futures and Lingard has only played 23 minutes of Premier league football since the start of 2020.
Fernandes has been used as the team’s central attacking midfielder, and United have gone unbeaten since he joined.
The Portuguese ace plays alongside a central midfield pairing of mostly Fred and Nemanja Matic, and is given the freedom to attack and cause problems defences.
With Paul Pogba still at the club, there is little room for either Pereira or Lingard.
Coach Solskjaer will now listen to offers for them in the summer as he prepares for a summer spending spree.
