Former Puebla coach José Luis Sánchez Solá says Cruz Azul striker Santiago Giménez is destined for Europe.
However, Sola believes Gimenez should make the intermediate step to the USA and MLS.
He explained on ESPN: "In December he has to go to the United States and from there jump to Europe, because (in Mexico) they are going to make it more expensive, he has a three-year contract.
"If there is an offer from the United States? I know there has already been one..."
This month Gimenez, 19, received his first senior national team call up by Gerardo Martino for a training camp. While born in Argentina, the striker has committed his international future to Mexico.
