Former Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, has been touted as the next head coach of Switzerland, according to Blick.
Wenger has not held any managerial position since he left the Gunners in 2018.
However, the Frenchman has not officially retired.
He is now being linked with the vacant Switzerland role after Vladimir Petkovic stepped down after seven years to join French club Bordeaux.
Wenger is one of several candidates for the job.
Wenger – who is currently working as FIFA’s Chief of Global Football Development – had previously been contacted about the role in 1995.
However, the Swiss federation were unable to agree terms with him back then.
