Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has finally ruled out any possibility of signing Juventus forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, this summer.
Ancelotti said Ronaldo, 36, is a Real Madrid, adding that he respects the five-time Ballon d’ Or winner but never planned to sign the 36-year-old.
This was disclosed by the respected football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, in a tweet via his Twitter handle on Tuesday.
”Carlo Ancelotti: “Cristiano Ronaldo is a Real Madrid legend and I really respect him. But I’ve never asked or planned to sign Cristiano this summer. We’re looking forward,” Romano’s tweet read.
Ronaldo, a former Real Madrid player, has been linked with a move back to the club and also PSG and Manchester United, respectively, this summer.
The Portugal captain’s contract with Juventus will expire at the end of the 2021/22 season.
