Sevilla has given a condition to sell their defender, Jules Kounde, amid interest from Chelsea and other clubs.
Sevilla’s sporting director, Monchi said that they will sell Kounde to Chelsea or other clubs if an acceptable bid is tabled for the player.
Chelsea have been heavily linked with a move for Kounde this summer.
Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel, wants a new centre-back and a striker signed this summer to help bolster his squad this season.
However, Monchi has now revealed that no offer has been made for Kounde, despite conflicting reports.
Kounde has a £68million release clause in his Sevilla contract and will be sold if a suitable bid is made for him.
“Many clubs have asked for Kounde,” Monchi said as quoted by Goal.
“Of course, there is interest, but no official offer is on the table.
“I don’t know what is going to happen. We will sell if an important bid arrives, this is our policy to improve the team.”
