West Ham United boss, David Moyes, has reacted to Manchester United’s decision to appoint Ralf Rangnick as their new interim manager until the end of the current season.

Moyes, a former Manchester United manager, said Rangnick is a very experienced coach who is well known throughout the coaching world, adding that it will be interesting for the Red Devils.

Rangnick is on the verge of becoming Man United’s interim manager until the end of the 2021/22 season, having reached an agreement with the Premier League giants on a six-month contract and will then take up a two-year consultancy role.

His appointment will be officially confirmed in the next 24-48 hours.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Friday ahead of West Ham’s clash with Man City, Moyes told reporters: “Ralf Rangnick is a very experienced manager, very well thought of throughout the coaching world, so that will be interesting for Manchester United.

“He is someone who is incredibly well thought of throughout Europe and now we have a chance to see him in the Premier League.”

Meanwhile, Man United caretaker manager, Michael Carrick, will be in charge of Man United’s tie with Chelsea on Sunday evening before handing over the reins to Rangnick..
