Former Chelsea winger, Joe Cole has backed Manchester City to win the Premier League title despite Liverpool closing the gap to just three points.
Just a few weeks back, Manchester City seemed to have won the title already with Pep Guardiola’s side winning 12 Premier League games in a row.
But they lost to Tottenham and dropped points against Southampton, with Liverpool closing the gap at the top of the table cut to just three points.
Despite this, Cole still believes Manchester City will ‘not be worried’ by the Reds’ surge.
“Liverpool have closed the gap but I still don’t think there is much pressure on Man City,” Cole told Coral.
“The way they have played this season, they won’t be worried at the moment.
“I can’t see them dropping many points between now and the end of the season and I certainly can’t see them losing two games.
“Liverpool have tougher games left I feel and I just don’t see them catching City, despite the gap shortening to three points at the moment,” he said.
