Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has explained why Rodri’s handball was not punished with a penalty, as they beat Everton 1-0 on Saturday.
Guardiola insists Everton striker Richarlison was offside in the buildup.
The hosts were however left fuming after Rodri escaped with extending his arm to the ball in the firsy half.
However, the call on the pitch of no penalty was upheld by VAR review, as City maintained their 1-0 advantage.
In his post-match press conference, Guardiola said: “It was offside.
“There was VAR and the action was offside. I didn’t see the image.”
