Ghana defender, Gideon Mensah, has told the Super Eagles of Nigeria to expect more from the Black Stars when both teams clash in a 2022 FIFA World Cup second leg playoff on Tuesday in Abuja.
Mensah believes the Super Eagles will see a different Black Stars from the one they faced in the first leg last Friday in Kumasi.
Recall that Nigeria and Ghana played a 0-0 draw last Friday
The winner over the two legs will qualify for the World Cup in Qatar.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Monday, Mensah expressed confidence that Ghana will qualify ahead of Nigeria.
He said, “We had a fighting spirit in the first leg in Kumasi and the game ended goalless, so obviously, we have won nothing.
“We are here to push more and give more fighting spirit, so you should expect something more than we did in Kumasi.
“We are not thinking about Ghana not qualifying, we are qualifying, obviously.”
