Wolves are open to selling Ruben Neves and are identifying strikers and central midfielders to boost their squad, according to The Times.
It is understood that lists have been circulated to intermediaries asking for players who fit Wolves' profile and budget before the opening of the summer transfer window.
It is also understood the club would consider offers for Neves. The 25-year-old has impressed since signing from Porto in 2017 and Wolves would not stand in the way of letting him leave if the right agreement could be reached.
Neves has two years left on his deal and with interest around the Portugal international, and the acceptance from the club that he is a Champions League-level player, there is a strong possibility he could move on this summer. The club’s good working relationship with Gestifute, Neves’ agency, would also help any potential transfer.
