A consortium led by former Chelsea chief Peter Kenyon has set a deadline to complete a takeover of Everton.
The Kaminski family, who are providing the financial backing for the takeover, are hoping to conclude a deal by July 21st.
That is according to The Telegraph, with the source stating the three-week deadline is due to Maciek Kaminski.
The head of the family wants to introduce himself to Everton boss Frank Lampard when the Toffees take on Minnesota United in Minneapolis, Kaminski's hometown, next month.
While Kaminski understands the entire takeover may not be done by that date, he is hoping that his consortium can be confirmed as custodians at the very least.
The Premier League has an owners and directors' test that every prospective takeover must go through before official ratification.
