Manchester City will not rush their injured stars as they prepare to take on Nottingham Forest on Wednesday.
The Premier League champions are hoping to get a few players back who are not fully fit.
The likes of Kalvin Phillips and Jack Grealish were unavailable for their last contest, along with Nathan Ake.
Asked about Grealish and Phillips, manager Pep Guardiola told reporters: "Much better, I saw them on the other pitch in the training session and they are close, with the ball. Nathan as well, they are much much better.
"Maybe we will see for Aston Villa, the Champions League, or the next one for Tottenham.
"They are closer and we need them because we are few players."
