Manchester City are sweating on the fitness of John Stones ahead of the Manchester derby.
Stones picked up an injury during the first half of England’s 3-3 draw with Germany on Monday night.
It is believed the 28-year-old suffered a hamstring problem.
The defender was expected back at City’s CFA training base on Wednesday to be assessed by the club’s medical staff.
Stones is likely to undergo a scan, before a decision is made on if he will be available for Manchester United’s trip to the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
He has started City’s last two games at right-back in the absence of Kyle Walker
