Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag has hailed England defender, Harry Maguire after he returned to the starting XI in the victory over West Ham on Sunday.
It was Maguire’s first start for United since his terrible errors that led to the humiliating 4-0 defeat at Brentford back in August.
But the England international helped the Red Devils secure a 1-0 win over the Hammers on Sunday.
Marcus Rashford scored his 100th goal for the club. His towering header in the second half was enough to hand Erik ten Hag’s side all three points.
Ten Hag told the BBC Sport: “I am really happy for the team of course but also Harry Maguire as he came off the pitch with a clean sheet.
“He was magnificent in protecting the box. He is a great player and a really good defender and we have seen how important he is for the squad.”
