Former Chelsea defender, Paul Parker, has urged his former club, under the leadership of co-owner, Todd Boehly, to sign Brighton forward Leandro Trossard.
Parker believes Trossard will improve the Chelsea squad under their manager Graham Potter.
According to him, Trossard’s energy and pace would be a perfect fit for the Blues, adding that he would perform way better than Eden Hazard, who left Chelsea to join Real Madrid a few years ago.
Trossard has been impressive so far this season for Brighton, scoring six goals and registering two assists in 11 matches.
“Chelsea should sign Leandro Trossard, he would improve their team a lot. His energy and his pace would be a perfect fit for Chelsea under Graham Potter,” Parker said (via Bonus Code Bets).
“I am a big fan of Trossard, and I can’t believe that he isn’t a part of the Belgium national team. That’s really strange.
“He would perform way better than Eden Hazard. I think any club in the Premier League would like to sign him.”
