Liverpool legend, Graeme Souness, has said that he is still doubtful of Lisandro Martinez at Manchester United.
This is despite the Argentine establishing himself as a fan favorite at Old Trafford.
Martinez, standing at just 5’9 tall, was signed for around £57m from Ajax in the summer.
However, the Argentine has started in each of Manchester United’s 12 Premier League matches this term.
But the former Liverpool star is still of the view that the Argentina international will eventually get found out by Premier League players.
“I don’t think he is terribly quick, I don’t think he is terribly good on the ball but he has got something about him that makes other people play. He has got real aggression,” he told talkSPORT.
“I think he will [get found out in the Premier League], common sense tells you that. 5’9 and he is playing against guys 6’2 so he will get pinned occasionally.
“He will get outsprinted occasionally and he will get caught.”
