Tottenham have stepped up their bid to sign Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie.
The American central midfielder has shone for his nation at the World Cup.
McKennie played a key part for his side as they defeated Iran 1-0 on Tuesday to qualify for the last 16 of the competition.
Italian outlet Tuttosport states that Spurs are talking to intermediaries about securing McKennie in the winter.
The midfielder is out of favor at Juventus under Max Allegri, and they may be willing to cash in on him.
McKennie appeals to Spurs coach Antonio Conte and managing director of football Fabio Paratici.
