Newcastle United star, Bruno Guimaraes has described Chelsea defender, Thiago Silva as a ‘monster’.
Guimaraes, who joined Newcastle from Lyon in the 2021 winter transfer window for £40m, shares a dressing room with Silva for Brazil.
They were part of Brazil’s team for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar where the South Americans crashed out to Croatia in the quarter finals.
Thirty-year-old Silva remains a key player for both club and country, making his 100th appearance for the west London side in the recent win over Bournemouth.
Guimaraes told the Premier League’s YouTube channel: “Thiago Silva, he’s a monster.
“He’s always played at the highest level. It’s difficult to be his age and play the same way he played when he was 18 years old… but he does it. He’s an amazing player.”
