Chelsea have been warned against bringing back former boss Jose Mourinho to Stamford Bridge.
Reports flying around Europe say that new owners of Chelsea led by Todd Boehly are considering hiring the AS Roma boss who is keen on a return to Stamford Bridge.
Mourinho has had two spells at Chelsea, winning three Premier Leagues, one FA Cup and three League Cups.
The Portuguese was sacked twice by the former owner of the club Roman Abramovich.
After his time at Stamford Bridge, Mourinho managed Tottenham and Manchester United.
Latest reports in Europe claim that representatives of the former Real Madrid boss have contacted Chelsea over a possible return to West London.
English sports journalist Oliver Holt insists Boehly would be making a mistake by trying to bring the Portuguese back to Stamford Bridge.
“Perhaps Boehly would accept it, but it would be a mistake. Mourinho’s time in the elite has passed.
“It would be too big a risk. His methods seem sour and old-fashioned now.”
