Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti says son Davide Ancelotti will eventually leave for a manager's job.
The Real assistant coach had been linked with a return to Everton before they chose Sean Dyche to replace the sacked Frank Lampard.
Asked about the situation Ancelotti Snr said: “It will happen sooner or later because he wants to be a head coach, but it won't be now.
"The day that I step down or he decides to go, he'll do so with no problem at all because he wants to carve out a career for himself and he has the ability to do so."
Like with Real, Davide acted as Carlo's assistant at Everton.
