Abdulahi Maikaba has been named head coach of Nigeria Professional Football League side, Kano Pillars.
DAILY POST reports that Maikaba replaced Evans Ogenyi, who was sacked despite helping the Sai Masu Gida gain promotion back to the NPFL.
The former Flying Eagles coach is taking charge of the club for the second time.
The gaffer is expected to supervise Tuesday’s training session.
The players will return from their two-week break on Tuesday.
Kano Pillars are four-time winners of the NPFL.
