Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti roundly ruled out the arrival of any player, including Kylian Mbappe, in the final days of the summer transfer window.
"There will be no new signings. It's over, the team is complete," he told reporters at the pre-match press conference ahead of the encounter against Celta Vigo in La Liga.
The Italian coach showed no concern about the numerous transfers being made official from Saudi Arabia but urged that the economic rules be regulated. The Saudi transfer window will close later than the rest of the market and European teams could lose a player in September.
"I think the squad is closed and all my players are focused on Madrid. Someone may change their mind but I don't know. I am not worried," he added.
"Football in Arabia offers much more money than in Europe. That's a fact. It's happening. Let everyone decide what they want. It's clear that the international bodies have to evaluate this issue well and take the necessary decisions to balance the market a little bit."
