Goalkeeper Dean Henderson has completed his medical ahead of a move from Manchester United to Crystal Palace.
The fee is understood to be in the region of £20m.
Once all finalised, United will push to conclude a deal for Altay Bayindir from Fenerbahce for around £4.3m.
United want a resolution by the registration deadline at midday on Friday so as not to leave themselves short for Sunday's trip to Arsenal, which will be shown live on Sky Sports.
