Max Eberl, a reported former Liverpool target, has been appointed as a new Bayern Munich board member.
The 50-year-old, who was linked with the sporting director role at Anfield, has signed a contract with the German giants champions until June 2027.
He previously worked as managing director sport at RB Leipzig from the end of 2022 until September 2023.
RB Leipzig parted ways with Eberl in September citing a "failure to commit to the club".
