Takefusa Kubo slammed the decision to rule out his goal and claimed Real Sociedad deserved to beat his old side Real Madrid in Friday's 1-0 loss.
Arda Guler's first-half goal proved decisive as Los Blancos inched closer to winning La Liga on Friday night. However, former Madrid recruit Kubo had a goal controversially chalked off as Ander Barrenetxea was adjudged to have fouled Aurelien Tchouameni in the build-up. After the match, the Japanese international did not hold back his fury at the decision.
The 22-year-old, who signed for Madrid from FC Tokyo in 2019 but never played for them during his three-year stint there, said, via journalist Jose Padilla: "We deserved to win. A shame for the time change and all this sh*t that happened. They were lucky in their goal play. Tchouameni falls asleep when he loses the ball. They don't ask for that in the Champions League."
That result, which was hard fought as Sociedad had more shots and more possession than Madrid, means Carlo Ancelotti's side need just four more points from their last five games to win a La Liga title this season.
Madrid, who have a 14-point lead over bitter rivals Barcelona in the table, return to Champions League action on Tuesday for the first leg of their Champions League semi-final away to Bayern Munich.
