Arsenal midfielder, Declan Rice, has opened up on choosing the Gunners over Manchester City last summer.
Rice became one of the most coveted players as it was confirmed he would leave West Ham.
The 25-year-old could have formed a lethal partnership with Rodri under Pep Guardiola, but opted to sign for Arsenal.
Rice moved for £105m, a fee that would make Rice the most expensive British footballer in history.
“This project seemed more exciting and that’s why I chose to come to Arsenal, because I believe we’re on to big things here,” Rice told The Athletic.
The England international is enjoying his most productive campaign ever under Mikel Arteta, having scored six Premier League goals so far.
