Anthony Taylor will not referee a Premier League game this weekend after receiving abuse on social media following Chelsea's 1-0 win at Bournemouth.
Taylor showed a Premier League record 14 yellow cards to players at Vitality Stadium.
The Premier League has launched an investigation following online abuse directed at the official in the aftermath.
Taylor will act as fourth official this weekend when Southampton host Ipswich on Saturday and Nottingham Forest travel to Brighton on Sunday.
Bournemouth were shown six bookings with Chelsea receiving eight in the hard-fought encounter on the south coast.
The previous record of 12 came in 2016 when Chelsea hosted Tottenham and in 2010 at Molineux for Wolves v Newcastle.
Taylor and his family were confronted by angry Roma fans in Budapest airport after the Italian side lost to Sevilla in the 2023 Europa League final, with video of the incident shown on social media.
At the time, Uefa "vehemently condemned" the "violent behaviour" directed towards Taylor and his family, with refereeing body PGMOL and the Premier League also both saying they were "appalled" at the abuse.
Then-Roma manager Jose Mourinho was given a four-game ban for confronting and swearing at the referee and other English officials in a car park at the stadium immediately after the final.
Taylor had issued yellow cards to 13 players, the most bookings in a Europa League game, with seven of them to Roma players.
