No Space for him – Agbonlahor names top star that’ll not play in Man United XI again

Former Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor has claimed that the new Manchester United manager will be looking to sell Marcus Rashford.

According to the Englishman, Rashford is not suited for the tactics that Amorim is bringing to the table.

Latest reports claim that the Red Devils have slapped a £55 million price tag on the 27-year-old. However, some reports suggest that they would accept around £40 million in January.

“Remember when you broke into the first team, how you felt, how happy you were, how you loved playing for Man United, how you celebrated goals, how you were the hardest worker on the pitch? You’re 27, and before you know it, you’ll be in your 30s. Do you want to go down the [Jesse] Lingard route?” he said on talkSPORT.

“[Amorim’s] come into United to succeed; he’s not come in to just pick players who have been there for a while. If you’re not at it, some of these players have got six months to the summer window. If you’re not at it, you’re gone…

“There’s probably not space for both Garnacho and Rashford. Looking at a 3-4-3, you’d probably say Garnacho, [Rasmus] Højlund, and maybe an Amad [Diallo] that you’d pick.”

DAILY POST reported that Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim dropped Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho from his matchday squad for the trip to Manchester City on Sunday.

The Portuguese is said to be ready to give his green light for the Premier League club to sell the England attacker, with Unitedq willing to listen to offers and open to allowing him to leave in January.
