Milan expected to formally approach Man Utd for Rashford

AC Milan are expected to formally approach Manchester United over the signing of forward Marcus Rashford.

Milan adviser - and Rashford's former team-mate - Zlatan Ibrahimovic has spoken publicly about wanting to speak to Rashford about a move.

Borussia Dortmund are also interested in the player but it is thought a move could prove too problematic for them due to the wages. However, United have maintained a positive relationship with Dortmund having loaned Jadon Sancho to them last season.

Rashford was once again left out of the matchday squad for Sunday's FA Cup 3rd round tie at Arsenal, which United won on penalties.

When asked if Rashford had played his final game for the club United boss Ruben Amorim said "I don't know. We will see"
